For the HS '22 collection, archival tablecloths, handmade by the Pomak community in Northern Greece, that would normally be purchased as a pre-marriage gift for a young daughter, were repurposed in innovative ways. The challenge was to use these square and rectangular tablecloths with unique handmade embroideries without altering them, in order to create a collection of kaftans that transition from day to evening or that can also be used as wedding dresses. 'Prika' dress is the result of this challenge.
