Erato (eh·RAH·toe) is the ancient muse of love poetry, stemming from the ancient greek for beloved or lovely, and sharing her roots with the god of love, Eros. Erato inspires the lovers among us, filling them with passion brought to life through written verse. Erato is the muse of romantics; whether in love or searching for love, she will be your guide and your comfort.
This handcrafted pendant depicts Erato in an original etching from 1832, accompanied by her famous Cithara.
The trademark Common Era raised molten rim frames the pendant, and hangs from a finely-woven Italian-made spiga chain.
