Have Bags, Will Travel!

Happy 4th of July! I prepared some fun travel favorites to share with you, but before we get to the lighter part of our newsletter, I want to share a few thoughts about this special holiday. Given the current political rollercoaster in the US and around the world, today feels like a good time to reflect on our ideals of democracy and freedom. Coming from a country that was a dictatorship when I was born, the idea of losing our democracy here—or anywhere—is something I don’t take lightly.

Ironically, as I write about packing our bags and exploring new places, I can’t help but feel like I’m running out of countries to consider. Maybe it's time to start looking at Mars? 🤷‍♀️ But seriously, let's enjoy our freedom, travel, embrace the fun, and then get really serious about what we’re doing in November. The future of our democracy depends on it.
