Friday Feels
I overheard someone say that September is the Monday of the year, but for those of us running summer pop-ups, it feels more like Friday — a bitter-sweet end of a season well-spent. At our Sag Harbor shop, we’ve wrapped up yet another beautiful summer, full of fashion, community, and meaningful connections.
We had an incredible roster of brands: AIREM, Another Tomorrow, Le Nine, Marfa Stance, Rebecca Taylor, Sestini, The Seven and Veronique Gabai. Our porch was alive with events with Angie Banicki,A Shirt Story, Jenni Kayne, Kathleen Boyes, Leret Leret, Lulu Frost, Mela Bags, Paper Fig Foundation, Reluxe, Royal Jelly Harlem and SED . We featured Anna Mason, Electric Merch Co., Greene Piece, Navygrey , and Vix. We toasted the season with Hamptons Magazine, Aplos and Wolffer Wine, and we helped to raise funds for Hamptons Community Outreach and The Children’s Museum of the East End. Phew, what an amazing season!
Behind these brands and organizations stands a visionary, someone who is wildly passionate about what they do. Whether they are sourcing the most sustainable materials possible, hiring women artisans all over the globe, helping women look and feel their best, repurposing vintage items, developing innovative materials, or giving back, they are a force for good, and I’m so proud to have welcomed them at our shop in Sag Harbor.
As the season winds down and we prepare to close our doors tomorrow, September 20th, I want to express my deepest gratitude for your support this summer. We’re taking a brief pause, but we’ll be back in November with special activations, including a highlight event on November 8th: Tovah Klein, Ph.D. Director of the Barnard College Center for Toddler Development and Adjunct Associate Professor, and author of Raising Resilience. Cocktails, conversation, and a little wisdom? Save the date!
I’ll continue to send you our weekly this newsletter, so stay tuned for more updates. Until we meet again, lots of love from Sag Harbor.
Patricia
