A Mother’s Dream

Today I want to honor mothers in the broadest sense of the word: all of us who, regardless of gender or childbearing status, have nurtured and cherished the people we care about.

In addition to world peace, parental leave, fair pay, accessible childcare, affordable healthcare, and reproductive freedom, I have a new Mother's Day dream: imagine if every parent worldwide swapped their children's smartphones for flip phones, and we all took a collective break from social media for a full year. 🙏 If only we joined forces and reclaimed control over this digital beast, shaping it to serve us rather than the other way around. A girl can dream…
