This Fall, Theresa Roden and Bridget LeRoy will host conversations with incredible women that I am sure will leave you inspired. Theresa, Bridget and our guests will be physically at Matriark (socially distancing), and we will stream these free chats on INSTAGRAM LIVE AND FACEBOOK LIVE. You can pick the platform that you like the best (we will be simultaneously streaming on both), and watch from the comfort of your own home.Â

Free to be you and me
Well, that was fast. Last I wrote I was celebrating our 1st anniversary, then all of the sudden: boom! It's the 4th of July. I’ve been meaning to write, but I was overwhelmed with too many thoughts and couldn’t write anything coherently. I still feel scattered, but I am motivated by the concept of freedom – my favorite word. So here it is.Â

Hi there,
How was your week? My was crazy busy and frazzled, with my daughter's birthday, trying to plan for a possible reopen (who known when and how!) and a lot of work. But all good otherwise, and started this week on a good note, inspired by the world of fragrances.
When I was pregnant, I learned that babies can smell their mother from two feet away. Turns out that their nasal cavities are developed early in the womb, and that in the first few days after birth, moms produce a sweat with similar scent to the amniotic fluid.

Hi there,
My daughter Sophie will be 9 years old this Saturday, which means cake, candles, and a quarantine birthday party with no guests (and this time, per her request, both Ron and I are making the cake. While I have countless dreams that now revolve around my 2 kids and a husband, I also have others that don't.

Hi there, How was your week? Mine was sort of curious. We slowly started letting our kids play Minecraft (don't worry if you don't know what this is - I don't either but I trust my husband Ron does...). We try to avoid screen time (key word here is try),...
